Josiah Pickard Elementary School creates a safe and enriched learning environment that empowers all students to become responsible learners and achieve at a high level of academic performance. We believe that education is a collaborative effort involving all stakeholders such as the students, parents, teachers, administrators, and the community at large.
To build a solid foundation within each student in mathematical reasoning, critical thinking skills, reading, speaking, technology and social-emotional skills. While striving to develop lifelong learners in a bilingual, multi-cultural world, with global vision and understanding, and to be able to meet and exceed current Common Core State Standards and attainment according to their grade level.
