Pickard at a Glance

Pickard Elementary is the #2 school in Network 7 for Reading and Math on the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR). Our scores stand next to the network's selective enrollment school, making us a top choice for families in Pilsen and Little Village. We offer core classes and specialized classes like Design, Library, World Language, and Visual Art. Our middle schoolers (6th–8th) benefit from a rigorous IB Middle Years Program ​and with a wide array of competitive sports and after-school clubs, Pickard is where excellence meets community. Families enrolled in Medicaid can also reach out directly to their MCO (Managed Care Organization) to learn more about available mental health resources.
